On what composes a Christmas vacation

Ever since I had my Christmas vacation, which started last December 19, I haven't really done anything productive. All I did was watch DVDs all day and all night. Like earlier today(or is it yesterday already?), I began to watch Perfume: The Story of A Murderer, (as recommended by CM) but mother asked me to accompany her to the mall, so I put the movie aside and consoled myself with the thought of something to look forward to in the night. When I got home, I immediately turned my ramshackled laptop on and watched the good first half of the film until...the freaking pirated DVD betrayed and sabotaged my Christmas peace and New Year happiness! The mutherfcukenass! I tried to play it on all the media players available on my deplorable computer but all efforts were futile. While trying to play the DVD, my laptop made these terrible mutherfcuken noises which scared me to pieces 'cause if this mutherfcuken DVD completely destroys my laptop...Hay, I don't even want to go there. But praise the Internet for online movies! I was able to find an incredibly reliable website that hosts the full Perfume: The Story of A Murderer! And that's why I'm blogging. 'Cause I'm waiting for it to finish buffering. Hohoho!

Holding hands

I couldn't embed it but check this one out. This came out around 2002, I think. The girl may seem familiar to you as she now plays a role in I Love Betty. Maricar Reyes doesn't seem to age.

So Cal

The Cali Girl summer style screams three things: beaches, sunshine, and laid-backitude. When you see a girl at the dinner table in board shorts, flip flops, and a bikini top, rocking the kind of tan that couldn't possibly come from a bottle, you know you're looking at a California Girl. Even if she does happen to be in, like, Maryland.

Cali Girl Style Must-Have: An old-school Dogtown style skateboard with no grip tape -- so she can ride barefoot.

"in board shorts, flip flops, and a bikini top, rocking the kind of tan that couldn't possibly come from a bottle"
Hahaha! Yeah!

Weird tan lines

You're a cut-out one piece.

You're a mixed-up mash up of all sorts of swimsuits. You show almost as much skin as a bikini, but you've also got the security and stability of a one piece. It's like you couldn't decide what kind of suit you were, so you put all the options in a magic swimsuit blender and created yourself a new identity. You're formfitting, flexible, and a bit futuristic. The swimsuit world is a crazy, crowded place, but you'll always make your mark... with weird tan lines.

Uwian time

You are 3:15 p.m.

You are the moment when the last bell rings and school lets out for the day. You are resistant to schedules and obligations, so you love feeling like you're in control of your life again. You are the very moment when the second hand hits the 12, and the halls fill with noise and motion. Even if your after-school time is packed with activities, lessons, or a job, somehow, you just feel freer in the late afternoon than you do earlier in the day. Maybe it's all that blue sky and afternoon sunshine? Nah -- even on rainy days, 3:15 is always a beautiful time.

Something for this week (Shameless plugging)

The benchmark of partying in UPLB will be set this December 11 with EC GIVES BACK!

A Fashion Show and Dance Party featuring DJ Badboy Jeff of Alchemy and Temple! For a ticket price of only Php100, you get to enjoy two Infinit drinks and a free-flowing booze from 9-10pm and 11-12am! Party starts 8pm at Java Avenue.

(This party was something I dreamed of during my term as CEO. Now, the guys are fulfilling it. Naks! Good luck! Stressed na sila, I can tell. Hehehe!)

Lazy Sunday

The weather today is just whoa! It's noon but the temperature feels like it's 6:30 in the morning. Woohoo! I love December! It's like I'm in Baguio or Tagaytay, kulang na lang Pine trees! (Which gets me into thinking, why don't I urge mother and father to drop by Baguio during our Christmas vacation in Ilocos? Nyahaha!)

I'm waiting for the Pacquiao-De la Hoya match. It's soooo delayed, man. It's already round 5 on the AM radio. Well, if you want to know, I want to see Pacman lose--he's already too rich. Hehehe. I'm sitting on the rocking chair with my laptop on my lap (duh) as I wait for the telecast. And though my legs are outstretched and resting, I can feel a slight pain on my left leg. It hurts pretty bad when I stand! Badtrip, wala naman akong ginawa. My last run was last Sunday at the Milo run, where my time (30:07 I think?) was bad because I initially wanted to just enjoy myself but decided otherwise and ran with my race pace during half of the race. Last Tuesday, I was set to run at the Philippine Army oval. But my fcuking left knee was cracking! Parang rayuma? Motherfcuker, what's happening to my left leg?!? First the knee, now my calves. Shiiit. I've been running for more than a year. Una sa treadmill tapos sa road. Pangarap ko pa mag-trail at sumali sa mga races ng takbo or maybe someday soon mag-tri. Ayoko pa ma-injure!!!

I might go for a swim later. My swim time is pretty bad. I. fcuking. hate. everything.

MJ is out biking. I don't want another lazy Sunday.
