My Second Attempt

...at blogging.

I logged on to blogger but failed miserably in figuring out what I should be writing about. So I just blog hopped. And hopped. And hopped. And hopped some more until I realized how frustrating it is to not be able to write about something about me. I mean, hell, I (pretend to) write for work, but I can't seem to find that Unique Selling Proposition (WTF) that happened/is happening/will happen to me that is worth sitting down, gathering thoughts, typing words, and mindlessly trying to proofread a lousy by-product!

Or perhaps the case is otherwise. Perhaps there are just too many things that is going on in my life that I can't keep up with them? Well, come to think of it, a lot of things happened lately. Like yesterday morning, I went for an early morning run with my best bud (Note: Don't let me see you walking. Hahaha!) It was a good five to six kilometers. The highlight of it was running beside an old lady--an old lady who is marathoner. Her name is Janet, if my memory serves me right. She is 46 years old and she came in third in the full marathon of Milo's NCR Eliminations this year. She said she is also a member of a certain elite running group, which I happen to be familiar with because it was the organizer of the last race I attended. Asteeeg talaga. Dapat maka-42k ako by, say, 23 to 24. The last time that I ran taking the same route, I ran beside two guys who claimed that they are "competitors." 'Kala niyo kayo lang? Haha!

On the same day, Barack Obama became the first black US President-elect. I watched his acceptance speech on TV and watched it over and over on Youtube and even grabbed a copy of the transcript of his speech. To me, the speech was intense and the man delivering the speech was more than intense--he was frighteningly piercing. I like Obama. I like his personality. I just don't know if I would like his leadership. But the speech... Some of his audience even got teary-eyed. If the man has anything, it's charisma. If that's not all, my boss told us a trivia about him. Something that made him "human" to me. He said that like Bill Clinton, Barack also has "a woman behind a man." No, it's not Monica Lewinsky, but that would really have it if he happens to have one of his own. LOL. Michelle Obama is actually like Hilary Clinton. Women who stay at the back and stay there for a reason. (Clue: Puppetteer is to a puppet) I think, like how my mom is, I'll grow up like them. Do you think it's a good thing? I think it's a good thing. Hahaha!

Andami ko nang nasabi eh! Meron pa akong kwento tungkol sa nangyari sa akin kaninang umaga. Saka na lang yun, baka maubusan na ako ng ikkwento!
